A Summer in Paris began as a study of handwritten letterforms. As I drew, I liked how the shapes were coming together and thought: why not turn them into a font?

I kept different drawings of the same letters, giving you a choice of shapes, strokes, and flourishes. The number of alternates varies from letter to letter: some have just one alternative, while others have many. These variations let you change the rhythm of a word and choose the forms that suit your composition.

A Summer in Paris works well for book covers, invitations, packaging, posters, and personal notes. Choose individual alternate forms through the Glyphs panel in compatible design software.
