Lily in the Garden
From $19.00
Lily in the Garden began with a customer’s suggestion to explore a more feminine direction for Editorial Method. The result became a distinct typeface, sharing the same emphasis on legibility and a relaxed handwritten feel.
Its letterforms sit between everyday handwriting and calligraphy, with gentle flourishes that give the text character without making it overly decorative.
Lily in the Garden is particularly suited to quotes, letters, notes, and invitations with several lines of text. Consistent letterforms keep longer passages easy to follow, while ligatures and alternates add variation to the handwriting.
The font includes 58 standard ligatures, alternate letters, and alternate forms of selected ligatures. It comes in three versions: Regular, Ink, and Ink Light. Regular has clean outlines; Ink and Ink Light offer two different ink textures.
All three versions share the same extended Latin character set. The download includes OTF, TTF, WOFF, and WOFF2 files, plus a PDF glyph chart for accessing the extra characters.
