Saint Claire

Saint Claire is a handwritten signature font born out of a simple need in my own design practice.

Looking through my previous script fonts, I noticed a pattern: most of them are very delicate and thin. While I love that airy feel, they don't always perform well when used at smaller sizes (like on subtle product packaging, tin labels, or small stationery tags).

I wanted to build a script that stays legible and full of character, even when scaled down.

About alternative glyphs. I didn't try to make them all uniform or balanced, some are a bit larger, some smaller, depending on what felt natural and useful for frequent words. Please check the preview image to see how they look together.
